Students are the pride of teachers...

I have many students that come and go in my 4 years of being a lecturer. Students of different character, personalities and cultural background. My office is filled with little tokens of appreciation from students such as postcards, keychains, figurines, souvenirs etc. One of my first batch of research project students gave me a small cross-stitch keychain she made with my name on it, yet another gave me a nice hanging piece with sea-shells and a poem she wrote for me, a stone with colorful words stating 'you are the best supervisor', a huge wooden plaque with my name are amongst some of the treasured items. I kept all these in my office as a means of remembering my dear students that have taught me so much on selfless, patience and kindness. My pride lies in seeing them excel not only academically but also in achieving valuable lessons in life that will equip them for life's journey. To all my students both past and present, thanks for your blessings and friendships.
